Yes! I love how one solid color becomes many in the play of light and shadow.

Yeah, took me 5 coats to get where I wanted using a deeper, what I call: "Barn Red" in our downstairs bath. I forget you're in a place where paint drys a tad faster than here. Took me days to do what you did in one.

Things do dry rapidly here, though not quite as fast right now, in the middle of our Monsoon season, as at other times. Luckily -- and unluckily -- yesterday was hotter -- 108 or so -- and drier than normal for this time of year.

The official name of the color is "pomegranate," which sort of makes sense if you see it in the can. But on the wall it's definitely more tomato. As a person whose favorite color has always been red, I'm delighted with the wall.
