It's important to back up one's journal, clearly. And maybe Live Journal isn't long for this world. But given the wealth of content, which costs very little to maintain, I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole site picked up at a discount by someone. Remember that the current owners are Russian and that falling oil prices have changed the Russian economy radically in recent months. Google, anyone?
