I just got back from San Francisco. The reading at City Lights was a big success by Bad Subjects standards, the gathering of participants afterwards delightful. But all I can think about right now is that I can't think because I spent 90 minutes in the Embarcadero BART station due to a systemwide delay. That means I had to lug my bag of books and bigger bag with this laptop from the Macarthur station to Doug and Jillian's, which is not the safest thing to be doing with one's time after midnight. But there were no taxis, so I had no choice. I'm starting to wonder whether my technology curse is spreading, at least to the realm of "all caps". First LAX, then BART: could SFO be next? I sure hope not, because I'm sick of this !!!
