Where is the Savoir? He's Right Here

Mark Buehrle pitched the game of his life today, obviously. But that catch by DeWayne Wise in the ninth? That has to be the best no-hitter-saving play I've ever seen. And one of the best clutch catches, too, for that matter. Going up over the wall like this was impressive enough, especially under the circumstances:

The part that stands out, though, was how he maintained enough focus to catch the ball with his bare hand after it had popped out of his glove upon full impact with the wall. Notice that he managed to achieve this remarkable feat with both feet off the ground, tumbling downward:

It doesn't get much better than that. Maybe the President should have called him, too.
