CPUSA Goes Google

I just went to Google News to catch-up on the headlines before we head to our night out and noticed that the lead link for the story of the Bush memo authorizing torture came, not from the San Francisco Chronicle, or Reuters, or some other standard source but the People's Weekly World. Can you believe it? The leveling effect of the Google News format, in which stories from the margins look as important as stories from the mainline, is truly remarkable.
