Maybe Flitcraft could marry Sisyphus?

Either Sisyphus or the intrusion of the Real that disrupts the Symbolic, which is what Flitcraft is about anyway. The Real derails Flitcraft's narrative and, in his realization of the artificiality of the narrative, he ends up in the very same spot before, mired in what he was attempting to escape.

Mais oui, monsieur. That was my point. If the rock is big enough, the escape route could be foreclosed.
