Does Collecting Make You Feel Dirty?
Luck of the Graph
We had a fine morning. The dress was green. The toast was green. The milk was green.

My bracket was still fresh and clean as a whistle. And Gerhard Richter played the leprechaun and snuck inside my digital camera.

Now that truly is ein glänzender Moment.

Mode: vert-ically challenged
Muse: a foretaste of "One Shining Moment"

Gerhard Richter is not a leprechaun he's my boyfriend. As long as we're talking the brilliant German professor at UW Madison and not the artist guy. I heart Gerhard Richter. He's got a silly accent and a bowl cut.

Maybe your boyfriend is the German artist?

In other news, should I be disturbed to find your Courbet alluring? It's like a day-glo, early 80s, "urban" poster. More than that, though, it's headless!

I find it incredibly alluring. I find my version way sexier than the real one as well. But that's because I love me. And ladies' crotches.

Yours is more upright and less dead-looking. All origins, however, are retroactively instantiated as per the logic of the future perfect.

I taught my kids all about the future perfect ala Beckett. And they got it!

Grammar is the best road to philosophy. Aside from sex, that is.

12 wds or less

Sterne would be proud indeed. Can I use this instead of trying to write my blasted course description on Ireland and irony?

Reminds me of that office hour day the student said to me that he wanted to write about imagery of sexual violation built into Tennyson's syntax. Said to me it's embarassing to talk about and I said no said you just have to do it well thought and I am no fool that you're embarassed, boy, don't try to play me. First paper and it was his best all term.

Re: 12 wds or less

The boy who tries to play you will end up crying "wolf" before too long.
