Does Collecting Make You Feel Dirty?
Holding Pattern
After being reproached by my partner for writing pared-down entries that provide you, my readers, with no point of entry, I decided I should compose something more substantive today. And I am. But I'm too tired to complete it. All this processing -- papers, final exams, resentments -- has me swimming my hardest just to make headway. In the words of someone near and dear to me, however, "Tomorrow is a new day."

long time, no type. I have been mired for a month in the end of the year yuckiness--both as student and teacher (gag)--so I have sympathy for your plight.

Sometimes your entries do seem like a study in minimalism...very pared down. But these are often like a puzzle or a strange Charlie koan--not without pleasure, if a bit inscrutable.

Well, I look forward to these new entries...especially if they are like an "E True Hollywood Story." ha ha

I actually had a long thought about you today before reading this comment. I was going to e-mail you to make sure all was well, aside from work-related stress. The idea of a "Charlie koan" made my day. . .
