I love how easy it is to "read" the L.A. metropolitan area from the sky. Then again, I've spent many years reading maps of it obsessively. . .

more like "city of torrential rain" today! but awesome pic - that's Marina Del Rey and LAX, with the West Side beyond if I'm not mistaken (and as a fellow obsessive map-reader, I do believe I'm correct).

great to see you the other night, by the way, and I encourage you to come up here as often as you like, especially if you're going to share more unusual tips about, um, my potpourri (and I do wish I had blown a little harder in your direction...next time, next time)!

I'm trying to think of creative ways in which I can use "Blaine" to terrorize my roommate. Perhaps putting him on her pillow in the morning so she'll awaken to the creepy creepy smell of coconut plastic? hmmm...but shh, don't tell!

Just for the record, I find the scent of your potpouri far more seductive than dear Blaine's. I did, however, promise C we'd pose and/or post a picture of Our Mutual Boyfriend, so whenever you find those camera batteries...

They should make a special, limited-edition "Christmas" Blaine scented like pumpkin pie spiece.

EW! plastic pumpkin pie! what would he be wearing, a sleeveless Pilgrim outfit and an Indian headdress? It's the special "Village People" version of Blaine!

I think B & I are going to take frightening photographs of Blaine in all sorts of compromising positions tonight and then send them to you when you least expect.

Meeting you was awesome! The Finland T-shirt was almost too much. I nearly launched into a discourse on Finnish art and design. Oh, and why, precisely, was I being so chaste? I'm torturing myself with longing for what could have been. Of course, as hot as it was in the second row at the Bob Mould show, so maybe it's all for the best. It's a shame they still haven't figured out a way to burn smells to disc, isn't it? I'd love a copy of Blaine's delightful odor. Have a sniff for me.
