You Know It's Bad. . .

My interest in college football, already on the rise last season, has now reached the highest level since I was a pre-teen. Tonight at Bluefin I found myself repeatedly looking over Kim's shoulder to watch Houston play Kansas, two teams that had little business to be in a bowl game. Kim finally realized what I was doing, asked a few polite questions. I answered. "It's been a long time since I've had the chance to see Kansas in a bowl game," I went on. Well, yes. But why the hell do I care? Maybe it's because Comcast took ESPN Classic off of our cable package. Whatever the cause, though, it makes me feel a little sheepish. All I need now is a pastor.
