We had our "Russian Orthodox" Christmas party today. After having to postpone on December 17th -- Skylar and I had the flu -- we decided that it made sense to round off the holiday season with an epiphany around Epiphany. And it was a rousing success. Kim now wants to hold our annual party after Christmas every year. While I do like the excitement of the pre-Christmas season, I have to agree with her that the timing is less stressful at this time of year. I'd share photos of the proceedings but I didn't take any. I chose to kick back and talk to people for once. That was a lot of fun and very relaxing. Kim's mom took pictures, but they will probably be too low-res for me to stand making public. For those of you who were in attendance, thanks so much for making our day so special. For those who couldn't make it, we'll look forward to a future gathering to which you can come. Peace.
