Oh, if only the technology were there to make inexpensive bathroom tiles like that! Of course, then I might never leave the loo. . . :-)

i keep meaning to make a quilt out of the t shirts i am too fat for, but it would mean getting my mitts on an overlocker, let alone a sewing machine. tell you what, though, you know those iron on things you can do from your puter? well they come out best of all on woven cotton, like shirt material, the finer the better, so a quilty thing would be something you could do at home. if you wanted to and could be bothered, that is...

Interesting. I'll have to put our more craft-minded family members on the task. With my luck, the printer would break out of the box.

Wow, so many great pics there. Cute babies too. I haven't used my typepad space to upload any pics into the gallery there. It's just another thing to maintain which I don't need.

It's all we use at present. I keep meaning to get my own web space, but have been too busy and/or lazy. Is it possible to be both at the same time? Love your return to regular updates with photos, BTW.

Well, if you need web hosting space let me know. I (We) have it for $7.95 mo. with my roommate's company.

How much space and bandwidth do you get?
art_thirst From: art_thirst Date: June 14th, 2006 11:25 am (UTC) (LINK TO SPECIFIC ENTRY)
500 MB HD Space

* 10 GIG Bandwith
* Unlimited Email Accounts

* FP 2002 Extensions
* Web Based Ctrl Panel using Plesk

Are they using their own servers or someone else's? My initial instincts are that I need more space than that if I'm paying on top of TypePad. But I have to think about it. I want to start doing stuff with video.

The servers are in downtown Miami data center. They're owned by his ex- business partner. 500 MB is a lot of space for the web because most of your images are not going to be high resolution. Video, if for the web as well, shouldn't be at the highest resolution possible. Miami Art Exchange has been online since October, 2006 and I've only got about 300 MB used right now and you know I have lots of images on the site.

The next higher plan is:
800 MB HD Space

* 25 GB Bandwidth
* Unlimited Email Accounts
* FTP Access
* CGI / PHP4
* 2 Databases
* FP 2002 Extensions
* Web Based Ctrl Panel using Plesk

$12.95 Per Month

I know. But you should see how much space our TypePad account takes up!
art_thirst From: art_thirst Date: June 14th, 2006 12:26 pm (UTC) (LINK TO SPECIFIC ENTRY)
Okay, the next higher plan:
1300 MB HD Space

* 40 GB Bandwidth
* Unlimited Email Accounts
* Individual IP
* FTP Access
* CGI / PHP4
* 4 Databases
* FP 2002 Extensions
* Web Based Ctrl Panel using Plesk

$19.95 Per Month

So, what I showed you was 500 MB, 800 MB, & 1300 MB. Do you need more than 1300 MB you think? If so, I can work out a deal for ya. email me privately: onajide (at) art3st (dot) com.

I wouldn't need it yet, obviously. I'm thinking down the road. The TypePad space once seemed inexhaustible to me.

Okay, well you got the plans to review. I'm here if you need it. :-))

Of course, a high percentage of those shots were taken in California, which also has its colorful side. It also helps to have a daughter who wears a lot of pink!

You left one out

The picture of your reflection over the koi pond. I like that one.
I love this format, by the way.

Re: You left one out

Oh, thanks. I could only do them in pre-grouped blocks, since I didn't have time to play around in Photoshop with individual squares. Sorry we couldn't see you guys. My parents were time-consuming.

Re: You left one out

It was nice to see my parents, but you guys are a lot easier to handle!
