My Ticket
A hearty welcome to Catfish Vegas, with whom I have consorted in music and literature-related activities on a number of occasions, most memorably during the Okkervil River "after party" at his house.

And thanks to him for pointing me towards the useful President Match poll. Here are my results, in order of preference, based upon my responses to a series of questions:
1) Kucinich Score: 100%
Party  Democrat
Has Held Elected Office  Yes
Served in the Military  No

2) Sharpton Score: 93%
Party  Democrat
Has Held Elected Office  No
Served in the Military  No

3) Kerry Score: 93%
Party  Democrat
Has Held Elected Office  Yes
Served in the Military  Yes

4) Dean Score: 85%
Party  Democrat
Has Held Elected Office  Yes
Served in the Military  No

5) Clark Score: 84%
Party  Democrat
Has Held Elected Office  No
Served in the Military  Yes

6) Edwards Score: 80%
Party  Democrat
Has Held Elected Office  Yes
Served in the Military  No

7)  Bush Score: 7%
Party  Republican
Has Held Elected Office  Yes
Served in the Military  Yes
Yes, I'm endorsing the Kucinich-Sharpton ticket!

Seriously, it's striking how much the people I talk to detest the present Administration. It's so intense that we need a new word for the feeling. "Hate", "detest", "loathe" -- these words are a little too soft and flowery.

In the meantime, another cheer of "Go Bears!!!" is in order. . .

Ha ha, I hate Bush more than you do!

Bush: 3%

I also got 100% for Kucinich. Got 94% for Sharpton, which shows the flaw in the quiz ... I can't stand the guy, and don't trust him or his opinions for a second. So I might be 94% in agreement with his stated stances, but I don't believe he believes in his stated stances.

Since I'm not a registered Democrat, I won't have to choose between any of them in the primary. And since Joementum has dropped out, I won't have to vote for a third-party candidate now ... I'll vote for whichever Democrat wins, because like Charlie's friends, I hate Bush.
