I'm practicing breathing through my nose. It's not easy. But by keeping my mouth full of water when I jog or ride my bike -- I just got through doing both in succession, as I've come to enjoy lately -- I force myself to do so. Sometimes I still have to swallow and inhale through my mouth. But I'm making progress. Whether this project will amount to anything useful, I can't say. At least it makes me feel like I'm improving my respiratory system's perpetually lackluster performance. And perception is 9/10ths of the law, right?
