As I Might Reply, Heedless of Logic, "Unglaublicher!"
Throw in the overtime period and that has to rank as the most sustained improbable ending that I've ever seen to a football game. Man, you have to give it to Boise State. The play-calling at the end was so bold it gave me goosebumps that have yet to diminish. Let's here it for the non-BCS conferences. How sweet for the season-sealing victory to come against big, bad Oklahoma and its annoyingly whiny coach. Double wow!

Not a bad article about why college coaches take more risks than pros.

Interesting. Speed is the biggest reason, I think. NFL players are so much better at recovering from their mistakes.

amazing

Up there in the "best games I've ever seen" category. As a pro fan (mostly), it reminded me of the 1982 Miami-San Diego playoff.

Re: amazing

That was an amazing game. 41-38. Kellen Winslow made some of the most improbable catches I'ver ever seen.

I've watched the Orange Bowl and Sugar Bowl the last two nights, in order to keep my father-in-law company in the hospital. The former was OK, the latter awful. But they both have served to confirm the wonder of the Boise State-Oklahoma game's conclusion.
