Übermüde
I'm off to the hospital again. Given my frame of mind, I can see myself buying a pressure cooker or perhaps a George Foreman griddle at Wal-Mart on the way home. Maybe even a book in the Left Behind series!

I have oh such an attachment to my George Foreman grill.

For that matter, I have a pretty strong since-childhood attachment to George Foreman himself. That probably enhances my attachment to the grill.

How do you use it? What does it do that would otherwise be harder?

I use it mostly to grill steaks (just because we eat steak the most often) and it is easier than the broiler in my electric oven in my opinion (and faster). I am not a fan of cooking food over charcoal and I'd be propane grill explosion paranoid if i had one. :)

You can also grill frozen chicken breasts on there which is a savior when I forget to thaw something for dinner.

I also have the GF "infusion" grill that is different than the regular grill in that it only has a grill plate on the bottom and is covered by a dome lid. It has a cup that heats in the middle in which you can put all sorts of fluid flavoring things of your own creation, which then steam and coat (and theoretically infuse) the cooking meat with flavor. I don't use that one as often, and mostly use that one for fish or chicken.

But, for me, the choice for cooking of grilled flesh (which we eat almost daily) is broiling in the electric oven, pan frying, or grilling and pretty much hands down the GF grill is the best option for me, particularly in the summer when I don't ever turn the oven on if I can help it.

Neat. I think I might have to get one. The thing is, there's nowhere to store it!
