A League of Their Own

Unlike _luaineach, I'm not a fan of the Big-12. But the last half decade has seen a lot of great basketball in the conference. I'm watching the Texas-Texas A&M game right now -- a shout out to Aggie wondrousbeauty is in order here -- and found the end of regulation enormously fun to watch. Kevin Durant really is that good. He has the potential to become the perfect hybrid of Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki, which is saying something. Of course, he screwed up on A&M's final play, when he let Acie Law IV arc a rainbow three over his outstretched arms. The Longhorns had a foul to give. But I bet he thought that Law wouldn't get the shot off. Back to the action. . .
