I was definitely expecting this

Over here, it's the #1 album on the charts. With the nonstop exposure they've been getting from mainstream music media after the release of Funeral and the built-up anticipation of this record (not to mention the move of their shows to big ticket venues), it was inevitable that people would be coming in droves to purchase the album.

It doesn't surprise me that it's on the top of the charts there. And I knew it would do well in the States, as I wrote a few weeks back. But it's still surprising that an indie-label album can debut that high. On the other hand, the total number of albums sold is shrinking, so the total sales aren't what they would have been for a chart-topper ten years ago.
