Ebony and Ivory
Normally I would welcome the chance to witness the relatively wholesome spectacle of Minor League Baseball. But the fact that The Deuce is presently broadcasting a game between the teams from Trenton and Portland, Maine has me livid. I was in the Bay Area for the tail end of Joe Montana's career, when his health was a headline news story. But the handling of the Rocket's annual summer vacations has taken adulatory fixation to a new level. If I have to hear one more tribute to the man's determination I'm going to hurl.

It's like Barry and Roger are brothers, except for the way the media treats them. Both deserve to be in the Hall of Fame on a unanimous first ballot. Both were clearly better than everyone else no matter what they or everyone else was using. But the hypocrisy of their differential treatment is enough to make me follow speeding BMW drivers and call them out on the absurdity of their rushing to make a return at Marshall's!

Ah, the annual retirement of Roger Clemmens. And the stupidity begins again. I was tired of it last year but this year, I'm honestly hoping he just tanks.

One year I could stomach. But not three.

Clemens' Hall of Fame cap shouldn't feature a team logo at all, but rather a dollar sign.
